1955 Buick
The old girl is a 1955 Buick Super 2Dr Hard Top Riviera... 322 ci Nailhead V8 with a 2 speed Dynaflow automatic transmission. The Dynaflow is better known as Turbo 350 and 400 in later Chevrolet models and is the "switch pitch" variable geometry version phased out in the early 70's.
The power steering is functional and does not leak. She is stock with the exception of chrome steel wheels, (now) non functional Lakes Pipes and a chrome aircleaner (all fitted in the 60's. The Lakes Pipes were disconnected to be compliant for ACT Rego. The car is unregistered at the moment but had full NSW rego until I moved to Canberra in 09.
